The XR2Industry 2nd Open Call (OC2) for software integration has successfully wrapped up, drawing a strong response from across Europe and beyond. A total of 73 high-quality applications were submitted, demonstrating both the relevance of the call and the momentum building in the XR technology sector.
Applicants hailed from 21 countries, highlighting the pan-European interest in XR innovation. The diversity extended to industry sectors as well, with proposals coming from 10 distinct industries.
Despite the competitive field and wide interest, only 2 outstanding applicants will be selected after thorough evaluation to become the official beneficiaries of this Open Call.
Each will receive €275,000 in funding to support the integration of novel software solutions within the XR landscape.
The success of OC2 is a testament to the vibrancy and innovation capacity of the European XR ecosystem. It not only shows the growing maturity of the XR market but also sets the stage for future calls to further expand collaboration and technological development across the continent.
