Open Call 1 – Hardware
The XR2Industry 1st Open Call for Hardware enablers will select up to 7 Developers of XR components (MidCaps or SMEs) aimed at integrating emerging technologies (such as 5G/6G, IoT, data, artificial intelligence, edge and cloud computing, and microelectronics) to enable possibilities of XR experiences.

The XR2Industry Open Call 1 (OC1) has announced its final results, selecting innovative projects that will each receive €500,000 to tackle specific challenges in the XR (Extended Reality) industry.
Out of a competitive pool, 7 companies from across Europe were chosen to address seven key technological challenges.
“Each selected SME/MID-CAP will receive a maximum of €500.000 (fixed lump sum) during 15 months.”
These groundbreaking projects will push the boundaries of XR technology and help build a stronger, more innovative European XR ecosystem.
